Lancaster, PA – The 79th U.S. Women’s Open Championship begins today in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Lancaster Country Club, a Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifying host site, looks to put six previous Drive, Chip and Putt competitors’ games to the test. Two of these competitors have gone on to professional competition, while four will compete as amateurs in the field of 156 players.
Alexa Pano, three-time National Finalist (2014, 2016, 2017) and back-to-back National Champion (2016, 2017), will make her third major appearance this year at the U.S. Women’s Open.
